Tusker FC makes technical bench changes


Ten time Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker FC have made changes to the technical bench, bringing on board Ugandan Paul Nkata and George Owoko as the team’s Head Coach and assistant respectively.The two penned a two year deals on Monday 2 November and are expected to report to work on Tuesday 1 December 2015 coming in to replace Francis Kimanzi and Leonard Odipo who have been in charge for the past two seasons, winning the KPL Top 8 and the DStv Super Cup.
Assistant coach, Odipo, a CAF 'A' License holder, was elevated to the head the team after Head Coach Kimanzi stepped aside following their post-match shootouts loss to Nzoia United in the round 16 of the GOtv Shield. In five matches Odipo has been in charge, he has won two and lost two (both against Gor Mahia) and drawing one.
While Nkata has some premier league experience having coached City Stars and Muhoroni Youth, where in total he recorded eleven wins in 29 matches while in charge at both clubs Owoko, 36 years old, comes in with high school coaching papers.
