LOUIS VAN GAAL: I AM NOT DEAF

By Rene Otinga

Manchester United Manager Louis Van Gaal insists he 'is not deaf' and is wary of supporters' frustrations due to his tactics.

The Red Devils fans were particularly vocal when the manager opted to substitute playmaker Anthony Martial for Marouanne Fellaini in Manchester United's game against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.

Many felt that Van Gaal's approach to the game was flat, and lacked the attacking prowess which Manchester United is usually associated with.

Despite their woes, the Red Devils managed to scruff out a 1-0 victory over the Russian rivals to go top of their UEFA Champions League group.

Despite their recent slump in goalscoring form that saw United play out three goalless draws in a row, manager Louis Van Gaal was quick to credit his team for being 'organised'
"They played so organised. It is not easy to disorganise them. I am very proud of my players" .He said in the post match interview.
