Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has been appointed the head coach of Spanish outfit Valencia, following the stepping down of Nuno Espirito Santo.
Gary, who played alongside his brother Phil Neville at Manchester United will be reunited with his brother at the Spanish side where Phil Neville worked as Nuno Santo's assistant from July this year.
The 40-year-old, who will take charge officially on Sunday, will remain part of the England coaching set-up.
Gary Neville will be forced to step down from the pundit position he had occupied at Sky Sports in order to pursue his coaching ambitions.
In a statement with the British press, he said, : "I am absolutely thrilled to be given this opportunity with Valencia."
Valencia currently sit ninth in the La Liga standings, having accrued 19 points from 13 games.
