CHELSEA 2-0 FC PORTO IN PICTURES

Chelsea disregarded their domestic woes by going top of their Champion's League with a convincing win against FC Porto on Wednesday night.

The Blues who have been under fire regarding their form proved their European credentials by instilling a similar defeat on their bitter rivals FC Porto, who they went down against in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Out of sorts striker Diego Costa orchestrated an owl goal before Willian wrapped up the win with a goal of his own, condeming the Portuguese champions to the 'not so favored' Europa League.
Diego Costa was in good form against FC Porto on Wednesday night.

Mourinho will be particularly pleased with the result as it sees some of the piled pressure lifted off him.

Chelsea top their group and will be happy to be drawn by one of the sides that finished in second place in their respective groups as the last 16 await the draw on Monday.

As the Chelsea fans cheered their team on, there was still a sense of uncertainty as to whether they would be able to reciprocate their European form domestically.

Mourinho had  a bittersweet reunion with a club he guided to the UEFA champions League trophy back in 2004.
There was a brief moment where Porto fans were chanting his name, perhaps cynically, but Mourinho was adamant.

Chelsea face a tough test this weekend in the Premier League as they face the in-form Leicester City who have been a surprsise package in the Premier League so far.
