Bishop Margaret Wanjiru was among those who accompanied devolution cs Anne Waiguru to the Ethics and anti-corruption commission where she was to be probed by the EACC officials over the loss of hundreds of millions of shillings on suspicious procurement deals in her ministry.
The devolution cs arrived at the EACC offices at Integrity centre around midday and spent several hours being questioned over the loss of KSH 791 million National Youth Service (NYS) scandal which is in her ministry.
Her supporters started gathering at Integrity centre in the morning to give her support as she goes through the investigation.
Her lawyer, Mr. Ahmednassir Abdullahi arrived thirty minutes before his client Ms Waiguru who has been the talk of the country in the recent weeks due to corruption allegations in her ministry.
Among the politicians who came to support her included Gatundu south MP Moses Kuria, Mathare MP Steve Kariuki and Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu.
Speaking to journalists soon after the several hours session, Mr. Abdullahi said the cs had nothing to do with the allegations of corruption at the NYS.
