The 23-yr old Public Health student at Kenyatta University was crowned the winner during a hotly-contested gala edition of the beauty pageant held on Friday at the Weston Hotel in Nairobi.

She managed to beat nine other beauties who were all finalists in the 2014 edition. She succeeds former title holder Idah Nguma. For her win, Mwangi, who was the Miss Kiambu county winner last year went home with a brand new car donated by franchise holders, Ashleys.
